Hibiscus Flowers

I have a Hibiscus bush in my front yard, over the last 3.5 years living here on this beautiful island I have enjoyed watching it bloom over and over and over again.  It makes me so mad when my kids and the neighbor kids pick the flowers, I want to be able to walk out and see them in bloom and enjoy them, not see them on my porch all withered and dieing.  This is one major thing that I will miss about living here, these beautiful flowers.

All over the island you see them, in all different colors and I love it!!!  This yellow one is beautiful!!!  I have also seen light pink, ones that are almost lavendar, some orange ones.  Their beauty makes me smile!! Plus the only kind of tea that I like to drink is made from these.  The okinawans make it here and with some of their fresh brown sugar, it is amazing!!!
Just wanted to share a little beauty with all of you today!!!!
May it be a beautiful day where you are at, whether it is raining, snowing, windy, or sunny!!!

Mr. Darcy Presents His Bride
I love these books and it is fun to see what people think happen after the end of Pride and Prejudice.

Just Ella
what happens to Cinderella after the ball? Does she enjoy palace life? Is the Prince really all that great??

Hannah's List
Love story with a twist.  His wife passes away and leaves a list of women she thinks would make him happy.  Kind of creepy at first, but sweet that she knows his so well and knows who would be good for him.

The next book is for book club.  Between Fifty Shades of Gray By Ruta Septyes

Playing Book Catch UP:

I started out this year with a goal of reading 80 books this year, well I am off to a slow start. I think part of it is because I started sewing again and starting taking a crochet class and it gives me another outlet. But I did borrow these books for my Kindle and since there was a time crunch for how long I have them, I had to read them.  I of course love Debbie Macomber and am trying to read her Cedar Cove series, I think I am somewhere in the middle.  As always I enjoyed reading and love hearing about my favorite state of all WASHINGTON!!!

My oldest is in 6th grade and they started reading The Giver for their English class.   My son and his friend were discussing some things in the book and it made me curious. So I borrowed it and read it.  It was actually a really good book and I am ready to read the next 3 in the series.   I try to read the books that they are assigned to read in school, mostly because I like to be up on what they are talking about and because some books have things in them that need to be explained and I want to be prepared and know where the questions are coming from.
